Jennifer Mudicka


I first began practicing yoga as a teenager when my Indian friend taught me in her living room. I dabbled for years, sometimes making yoga a regular part of my life and sometimes not practicing for months. I moved around a lot and it often took me a while to find a teacher whose style I responded to, if I found one at all. So in 2007 I decided to become my own teacher by going to India to take my teacher training.

I completed my 300 hour teacher training with Bharath Shetty, yoga master and creator of Yoga India which integrates Ashtanga, Sivananda and Iyengar principles of yoga: alignment and stability with strength and flexibility. Taking my teacher training changed my life and since then I have become devoted to continually deepening my practice. I hope to offer students a chance to deepen theirs as well. My classes are for all levels and include breath work, and chanting as well as asana practice with music.
