Power Yoga

Based on ashtanga yogic principles power yoga builds internal, heat focus and strength.
be ready to sweat, flow and have fun.

PowerFlow

A dynamic all-levels PowerYoga Vinyasa class with eclectic playlists that are constantly changing. Music covers a huge spectrum- Sweaty, fun and rhythmic!

Vinyasa Flow

A dynamic, physical practice of yoga where breath and movement are linked together through unique sequencing of postures.

Mysore Ashtanga

Studio will open promtly at 6:30am.  Yogis may enter the room anytime before 7:30am and must be finished by 8:30am.  Yogis that have an established Ashtanga practice will begin and end on their own time and will be taught new poses as appropriate.  Beginners will be taught poses individually within the context of the class.  No prior knowledge is necessary.  ALL levels are welcome!!!                                                                                                                                     

Iyengar

This class is tailored to specific detailed alignment breaking down postures from every angle.

Anusara Inspired

Anusara means to "flow with grace" and is rooted in yogic philosophy that celebrates the intrinsic good and special talents in everyone. This heart-opening practice incorporates Anusara's Principles of Alignment to assist the student in connecting with the power of the Divine. This is a joyous, playful, and vigorous practice where poses are held longer for deeper reflection and concentration.

This practice of yoga was developed by John Friend to encourage deep clear alignment, energetics, and mind body connection.

Primal Yoga

A vigorous yoga/martial arts fusion class that merges traditional Hatha yoga with the playfulness of Capoeira, the artistry of Kung Fu, the grace of Tai Chi, and the agility of Budokon into a challenging heat-building flow, while focusing on alignment, balance, strength, power, and flexibility.  Perfect for athletes, martial artists and yogis of all levels.

Radiant Body Yoga

A potent combination of flow, stretching, breathing, meditation and relaxation.  It incorporates:  The transformational possibilities of Kundalini Yoga, the challenging and technical precision of Vinyasa Flow and the power of Meditation.

Yoga for Recovery

Designed for folks in recovery, but open to all, this 2-hour class will combine a strong Vinyasa Flow with Kundalini Yoga, reading and discussion.  It will appeal to people in the recovery community as well as anyone interested in overcoming a personal challenge through spiritual means.  There is no better place to spend your Friday Nights!    

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow, deep, and receptive practice.  Laying or seated postures are held longer, giving time for the connective tissues around the joints to soften and stretch. This allows prana to move freely through the entire body and helps loosen the minds resistance and holding patterns. All level

Prenatal *

Yoga for expecting moms to help them develop the flexibility, concentration, and strength needed during the transformative time of pregnancy. breath and relaxation techniques are utilized, helping the moms connect to the experience of pregnancy and their developing babies.Time will be given to share stories and connect with other moms.

Mommy&Me *

Bring your little ones to this fun,but challenging class, while taking care of you! Bond with your baby through yoga! Concentrates on gently conditioning the muscles of the new moms and building back core-stregth safely after birth, while also using meditative breathing, to both relieve stress and relax with baby. 

Basics- The Foundations of Yoga *

Learn the mechanics of yoga postures with the utilization of alignment principles to help the beginning and intermediate student deepen their understanding and experience for safer practice. This is a semi-private class where individualized attention is given and questions are encouraged.

Gentle Yoga *

This class concentrates on gentle and restorative postures, yogic breathing, and guided deep relaxation to reduce stress and increase movement and vitality. Gentle yoga is also ideal for students of all ages, with chronic pain or injuries.

Restorative *

Restorative yoga focuses on relaxing the body with active restful poses, using props to help relieve stress, rejuvenate the spirit and restore inner balance.

mini yogis(r) *

This class is appropriate for children 3-13 years of age, creating a fun and exploratory approach to Yoga.
Kids will learn basic postures and explore their bodies and come out feeling happier, stonger and even a bit calmer:)

Tao Yin Yoga *

This is a restorative style of yoga to alleviate blockages in the meridian systems, strengthen the body, cultivate tranquility of mind, and promote inner harmony.

Therapeutics *

Therapeutic and restorative postures, breathwork and meditation.Excellent for those working with illness,injury, or chronic pain, or for those simply seeking a gentler class to alleviate stress.

Class Levels-

 

All Levels

This class is appropriate for all levels from the beginner to the advanced yogi.  Modifications and variations are given to keep all levels challenged and content.  Either way be prepared to sweat hard and breath deeply...

Level 1   

Our level 1 class is tailored for the new student.
The focus is learning the basic postures, proper alignment and linking breath with movement.

Level 2  

This class is for all yogis advanced, intermediate and beginners looking to move forward with their practice...Postures will be broken down and you will methodically flow through sequences going deeper into your understanding of yoga asana.

Level 2-3   

This class is for the intermediate to advanced student and is a bit more sweaty.  Be prepared to work hard, have fun and be challenged as you bring your practice to the next level.
